Serum and CSF autoimmune studies MRI brain with contrast Electroencephalography Whole-body PET scan if necessary to look for tumor

Treatment

These patients are offered treatment with steroids and other immunomodulatory agents and at times plasma exchange. Tumor identification and removal will also have good outcomes
